I have always enjoyed taking a closer look at the those things around me. For it is often within the details that you find the most wonderful of designs.
As an amateur photographer I endeavor to capture the essence of these designs & details.

A real power house!

Now with the new spider webs and Frog galleries!

Now that the Spiders and Webs are done, I think I'll move on to updating the reptiles & amphibians.
Toads, snakes, salamanders and turtles will all be in the mix!

Don't foreget that the Butterfly, Spiders, Webs, Dragonfly and Special Mix Galleries are also new ( or updated) this season. And I'm also continuously adding to the Special mix gallery.

I am hoping to get to update all of the other galleries ASAP.

Please drop back by to see what's new. Your comments (or suggestions) are of course always welcome Please just email me from the link below.

This beautiful old snapping turtle (above center) was attempting to cross a very busy road when my son and I managed to reach her (just in the nick of time), and move her to a safe location.
The intence expression on my face (captured by my son in the photo above) is testiment to the raw power of her legs and 1 1/4 inch claws, because as they dug in, she nearly pulled me right off my feet.
I figured she weighed in at around 25 to 30 lbs. Carapace (shell): approximately 17-18 inches in length. June of 2004

I hope to have a new guest book up soon. I'm afraid the old one was being heavily spammed. Thank you to those who did sign it and I hope to hear from you again...

This is a graphically heavy web site
This is done in order to keep a certain amount of quality to the images. Therefore, those of you with dial-up or slower connections may find a much slower response time for page and image loading. Still, I think you may find the photos are worth the wait.
